EEA Residence Permits in Norway

With effect from 1 October, citizens from countries in the EEA no longer require a residence permit to work in Norway. All the need to do is to register with the police. The new regulatons apply to citizens from all EEA nations, except Romania and Bulgaria, and are part of a new directive which secures citizens from EU and EEA countries the right of freem movement within the regions.
